Timy Booker offers treats to Taegan Reyes and Kyler Garcia at last night’s Trunk-or-Treat event at the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ. The event gave kids a safe and fun alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating. If you missed the event last night, there are other similar events being held in Altus tonight. Emmanuel Baptist Church at A Street and Forrest, and Grace United Methodist at 620 S. Park Lane, are both holding Trunk-or-Treats from 5:30 to 7 p.m.; and First Baptist Church will hold their Harvest Blessings Trunks ‘N Treats at the community center on Falcon Road from 6 to 8 p.m. The FBC event will include free food, games and a hayride around the reservoir. English Village Manor residents also welcome children to come out to trick-or-treat from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, and Tamarack Assisted Living will host a safe trick-or-treating even from 6 to 7 p.m.
