“We do not have a victim right now but they did find blood at the crime scene,” said Altus Police Detective Capt. Mike Turner, adding that a man who was seen running from the back of the house at1213 W. Frisco was neither the victim nor a suspect in the shooting.
Police dispatch personnel received two calls at 12:34 a.m. reporting possible gunshots in the area of 700 S. Hickman, Turner said.
Witnesses said they heard three to five shots fired.
No arrests have been made and no further information was available at press time.
