It was like stroll in the park for the Western Oklahoma State College men’s basketball team. The Pioneers defeated the Hillsdale JV 125-46 here on Friday night.


Eleven Western players broke into the scoring column, eight of which were in double figures. Leading the way was Josh Torres with 18 points. Dii’jon Jordan finished with 17 points. Then came Shywann Spencer with 13 points, Jermoin Faison with 11 points and Stirling Thomas, Jahmal Lane, Darnell Glover and Dakari Mayo all with 10 points.


Western is 6-1 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Big Spring, Texas Sunday for a game with Southwest Collegiate Institute.
