Jackson County Commissioners approved a Detention Services Agreement with the Sac and Fox Nation Juvenile Detention Center on Monday, April 14, during their regular meeting along with other items on the agenda.

The agreement states that Jackson County will reimburse the detention center for provisions of juvenile retention services at a rate of $21.11 per day per child, an amount that represents 15 percent of the Office of Juvenile Affairs approved operational cost of detaining a child. The agreement was approved for FY July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015.
