A regular meeting of the Altus Board of Education will be held Monday, March 10, at 5 p.m. in the Board room of the Administrative Center, 219 N. Lee. During the meeting, the Board will be presented the district audit report for fiscal year ended June 30, 2013.
Action will also be taken to reorganize the Board through the election of officers.
Items under the Superintendent’s Reports include Choice of School and Pre-K Enrollment, the OSSBA District 11 Meeting on April 24 in Cache, Bid Opening for the Vocational Agriculture Building at the High School, Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence Academic All State, Certified Healthy Schools, High School Boys Swim Team State Placers, and High School Wrestling Team State Placers.
Monthly reports including activity fundraisers, CLEP Plan and use of school facilities will then be heard.
Retirements, resignations, reassignments, proposed substitutes, time sheet employees, volunteers and extra duty assignments will then be addressed, if any.
In executive session, the Board will discuss proposed new hires, and after reconvening into regular session, will consider employments.
An incentive pay for contracted bus drivers for the fourth nine weeks will be considered, as will school meal prices for the 2014-15 school year.
New business, if any, will then be heard before adjourning.
