The Oklahoma State Board of Health will meet Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Southwest Technology Center, 711 West Tamarack in Altus.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to be the host site for this Board of Health meeting,” said Karen Weaver, administrative director for the Jackson County Health Department. “We look forward to presenting a summary of how Jackson, Harmon, Beckham, Greer and Tillman counties are progressing toward achieving goals outlined in the Oklahoma Health Improvement Plan.”
Agenda items include appointment of an eight-member food service advisory council, consideration of standing committee’s reports and action, presentation of the president’s report, commissioner’s report and any new business.
The proposed executive session will be to discuss potential or anticipated investigation or litigation concerning long term care issues. Possible action may be taken as a result of the executive session.
