Anyone interested in knowing more about the citizenship process, requirements and tutoring services, should attend the “Immigration 101” sessions on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Altus Public Library in the West Meeting Room.

Community Relations Officer Jesus Ramirez from the US Citizenship and Immigration’s Regional Office in Dallas will be conducting “Immigration 101 in English” at 1 p.m. Then at 5 p.m. he will present “Immigration 101 in Spanish”. Both of these meetings will focus on questions often asked by resident aliens and their families. The Great Plains Literacy Council and the Southern Prairie Library System are hosting the events.

There is no cost to attend.
