A Bedlam Tailgate Dinner and Auction is being offered today, Dec. 4 by members of the First United Methodist Church to benefit Project Noel. The tailgate meal will be served from 5 to 6:15 p.m. in the First United Methodist ChurchFamily Life Center. Cost for the meal is by donations to Project Noel. An auction of OU and OSU gifts items will begin at 5 p.m. for silent bid items and a live auction of additional items will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Wear your team colors to show your team spirit and let’s see whose fans can win the bedlam challenge by raising the most money for Project Noel Altus.
The meal will include smoked meat, Sooner baked beans, Cowboy potatoes, and all the fixings for a fun tailgate party. Go Pokes and Crimson and Cream cakes will be served for dessert.
The live and silent auction will include items donated by local businesses. All gift items will hold with the Bedlam theme of OU vs OSU and have either the universities’ logos or colors.
Among the items to be auctioned are team watches from Crown Jewelry, Holder Beef gift baskets, glass trays from Box’s Inc., and Christmas Elves from H and H Furniture. Other items include home décor signs, jars, ornaments, candles, shirts, scarves, earrings and gift cards. Donors also include Abby Lane, Bunker Hill Drug , Cotton Patch, Cotton Candi Creations, Custom Graphics, The Elmer Country Store, The Enchanted Door, Gem’s Etc, Petal Pushers and Rexco Drug.
The quilters and crochet ministries of 1st UMC have also donated OU, OSU and OKC Thunder afghans and a quilt for the auction. A set of OKC Thunder tickets will also be auctioned.
