Cameron University’s Dr. Hyunsoon Whang will be joined by nationally renowned violinist Destiny Ann Mermagen and cellist Michael Mermegan for “Trio Barn Burners.” During the concert, they will perform trios by Haydn and Dvorak as well as Paul Schoenfield’s Café Music.

Boeing tour provides SWOSU students with career pathway insights

A group of sixteen students and five staff/faculty members from Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) recently participated in a tour of Boeing facilities in Oklahoma City. The tour provided an invaluable opportunity for students to gain insights into career pathways within the aerospace and defense industry. The group, comprising junior and senior-level students from SWOSU Engineering Physics, Engineering Technology, and Computer Science, participated in an educational tour to explore potential opportunities post-graduation. The student attendees were Drake Pena, Chris Ray, Ralph Sartin, Chris Svebek, Cody Conrady, Andres Arrieta, Mason Hart, Ben Smith, Akinwale Akintemi, Blake Grammer, Kyser Smith, Mitchel Worley, Reed Shields, Ryan Cunningham, and Tate Crouch. The faculty and staff attendees were Dr. Brian Rickel, Dr. Wayne Trail, Brett Chase, Dr. Chad Kinder, and Kimberly Rex.
