Oklahoma Irrigation Conference set

On Aug. 18 the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service will offer an outstanding production agriculture conference dealing solely with irrigation. The conference will be held at the Caddo Kiowa Technology Center in Fort Cobb Oklahoma starting at 9:30 a.m. with registration and concluding by 4:15 p.m. Topics will include Irrigation and Evapotranspiration, Understanding Cotton Irrigation Requirements, Interpreting Your Soil and Water Test, Managing Salinity in Irrigation, Comparing Mobile Drip Irrigation and Low Elevation Spray Applications, Irrigation Efficiency and Conservation, Using Sensor-Based Technologies to Improve Irrigation Management, Planting Strategies for Wheat Under Subsurface Drip Irrigation Systems.

This will be a very useful conference for those managing production agriculture systems that utilize irrigation systems as part of their practice.
