Dan Clark is a professional motivational speaker, author, and CEO of Clark Success Systems. Dan speaks all over the world to corporations, charities, universities, conventions, U.S. military academies and to troops and their families, and he has also appeared on television and radio shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Glenn Beck Program and The Adam Carolla Show. Dan is best known for his inspiring messages and his dedication to our nation’s military, and he has an impressive resume.
Dan is a New York Times Best Selling Author and Screen Writer who published his first book in 1983, and has authored a string of best selling works since that time. Dan is the author of twenty-one books, and is a primary contributor to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. One of Dan’s short stories, Puppies for Sale, was turned into a short film starring Jack Lemmon.
He is also an Award Winning Athlete who fought his way back from a paralyzing injury. Dan was a standout college athlete at the University of Utah where he was starting wide receiver as a freshman and starting defensive end his sophomore year. He was projected as a number one draft choice for the NFL Oakland Raiders in a confirmation letter from Ron Wolf and Al Davis, but his career was cut short by a devastating injury he suffered during a tackling drill. Doctors projected he would have a 10% chance of recovery at best, but he fought his way back and now speaks about his recovery.
Dan is a Gold Record Winning Songwriter & Recording Artist who shares his Gold Record with country artist Michael Peterson for his #5 Billboard charting hit, “Drink, Swear, Steal & Lie.” Dan’s story of the little boy throwing a baseball up three times, striking out and saying, “Man am I a good pitcher” was put to music by Don Schlitz & became the inspirational hit, “The Greatest” recorded by Kenny Rogers.
And that’s just to name a few! We can’t wait for you to meet Dan and hear the message he has to share, including how to improve your life and your business.
