Altus Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 700 block of N. Julian on Tuesday afternoon at approximately 4:40 p.m.
According to Chief of Police Tim Murphy, a call came in from a homeowner after they returned home and discovered several bullet holes near the front door of the residence.
Murphy said that two male subjects, were in the home at the time of the shooting, but were not injured and didn’t know the house had been hit by gunfire. They were interviewed by investigators.
Police recovered several shell casings, which were located in the street in front of the residence.
Murphy said that at this time police have no suspects and are continuing their investigation.
