Police are investigating a report of a first degree burglary, which is believe to have occurred shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of North Hudson Street.
According to Chief of Police Tim Murphy, the homeowner told police he was asleep upstairs and was awakened by the sound of voices in the downstairs portion of the home.
Items stolen were a 50-inch Toshiba television, an Xbox with headsets, a Canon EOS camera, $140 dollars cash, a man’s billfold, and keys to the victims pick-up truck.
The suspect or suspects gained entry into the home by kicking in the front door. No injuries were reported.
