OSU students from Altus receive Agricultural Scholarships

Kaden McCombs, son of Scott McCombs and Donna Thornton of Altus, as well as Carson Vinyard, son of Sam and Cindy Vinyard also of Altus, have both received scholarships from the Department of Agricultural Economics at Oklahoma State University for the 2015-2016 school year.

Kaden has been awarded the Burruss Family Endowed Scholarship sponsored by Merrill and Nadyne Burruss. Kaden will be a senior at Oklahoma State University during the 2015-16 school year. University activities he is involved in include the Aggie-X Club and the Horticulture Club.

Carson has been awarded the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers Scholarship sponsored by the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. Carson will be a junior at Oklahoma State University during the 2015-16 school year. The University activities he is involved in include Homecoming Steering Member, Collegiate Farm Bureau Social Officer, and Aggie-X Club member. His community activities include Habitat for Humanity Volunteer, Relay for Life, and Make a Wish Foundation.
