JCMH adds clinic physician


Alejandro Pacheco, M.D.

Jackson County Memorial Hospital welcomes Alejandro Pacheco, M.D., to the JCMH Medical Clinic July 27. Dr. Pacheco will offer a full-service family practice including care for newborns, pediatrics, and adults of all ages including geriatrics. All aspects of family medicine such as preventative care, diagnostics, urgent care and minor outpatient surgery will be available. His practice will include both clinic and inpatient care.

Pacheco completed his Family Practice Residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Fayetteville Arkansas in 2015. He received his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico, and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Med at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.

Dr. Pacheco is fluent in Spanish.

He says, “I am very happy to arrive in Altus, where friends and family see each other on a regular basis. Once there, I will strive to keep a healthy community to the best of my ability. My wife Elia and my son Arturo move to Altus as a family to grow in wisdom and number and under the surveillance and help from God.”

At the JCMH Medical Clinic, Dr. Pacheco joins Noble Ballard, M.D., John Root, M.D., and Kimberly Wirths, M.D., and Manda Stephens and Nicole Chen, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
