Altus Christian Academy is accepting enrollment for its third annual Fine Arts Mini-Institute held June 6-10.
The Institute is designed for students who have completed the third-grade through the sixth-grade and is open to all area students. Classes are from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with healthy snacks provided.
Enrollment into the Fine Arts Mini-Institute can be completed online at www.altuschristian.org or by calling 580-477-2511.
The Fine Arts Mini-Institute helps prepare students for secondary school fine arts programs and will focus on art, photography, drama and music. Students will participate in the four areas every day. High energy instructors will lead each artistic discipline for a full week of fun. The enrollment fee is $100 per student and includes the required supplies. Need-based scholarships are available.
“These are the ages to introduce students to the fine arts,” said Dana Darby, head of school. “The week-long session is specifically designed to encourage each child’s artistic development. We want to create an environment that is fun and upbeat.”
The last two Fine Arts Mini-Institutes have been held with great success.
