Commissioners tout Oklahoma Home and Community Education Week

The Jackson County Commissioner’s met Monday for their weekly meeting.

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved and no officer’s reports were given. Approval was given for action on advertisement for bids for material and labor for metal roofing and components for District 2.

The detention services agreement between the SAC and Fox Nation and the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County for juvenile detention services from July 2, 2016 to June 30, 2017 at the rate of $21.11 a day per child were approved.

A lease with purchase option for road machinery or equipment between the board of county commissioners for Jackson County and the State of Oklahoma through the Oklahoma Department of Transportation county road machinery and equipment revolving fund for a 2016 John Deere 655K Track Loader, District 2.

A request from the District 3 Drug Court for Assistant District Attorney David Thomas to be a requisitioning officer for all JDC accounts. Approval was granted, effective April 25 through June 30.

Commissioner’s approved and proclaimed the week May 1 through May 7 as Oklahoma Home and Community Education Week In Jackson County.

Meeting adjourned with no new business, no claims and approval of payroll.
