Sheriff Roger Levick has released the name of the homicide victim from an incident reported in the Wednesday edition of the Altus Times. Levick said that homicide under investigation in Jackson County involves Terry Randel Drury, 62, of Blair, who walked into the Sheriff’s department around 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 and confessed to killing his son-in-law, Jeffrey Mark Garrison, 53, of Blair. Drury said the incident happened in the county just east of Blair.

Drury is currently in custody for the crime. According to Levick, no bond has been set at this time and his initial arraignment is still pending. Levick said that an affidavit was in the process of being written up this morning.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to handle the investigation.
