Sheriff Roger Levick confirmed this morning that a homicide is under investigation in Jackson County. According to Levick, a man walked into the Sheriff’s department around 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 and confessed to killing his son-in-law in the county just east of Blair.
Terry Randel Drury, 62, of Blair, is currently in custody and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to handle the investigation.
Levick said that local investigators were at the scene until 3 a.m. today.
Charges against Drury are homicide-murder in the first degree.
