Roz Brown comes from a musical family where she began singing in church at the tender age of three. A natural talent, she received formal training at The Fiorello H. LaGuardia H.S. of Music and Art in New York—a school that has graduated famous talents like Jennifer Aniston, Liza Minnelli, Al Pacino and Janis Ian to name a few. She has toured throughout America and Europe with her raw and dynamic vocals that have been compared to electrifying rocker Tina Turner fused with the sultry tones of Natalie Cole and Patti Labelle.

Roz is an all-around talent and her aspirations soared as she entered the world of stage and television as a multi-talented artist. She has appeared as a guest actress and singer on several television programs including Good Morning America, All My children, Third Watch and Law and Order. She performed on Broadway and in Off Broadway productions appearing in Footloose, One Mo’ Time, Dreamgirls, Hair Ain’t Misbehavin’ and We Will Rock You in Las Vegas. She has also worked and performed with famed artists Andrew Lloyd Webber, Neil Simon, Patti Labelle, Natalie Cole and Stevie Wonder giving her first-hand experience at capturing her audiences.

This high energy, interactive show will take audience members on a journey from Blues and Jazz to Rock & Roll while mixing in timeless classics and show tunes along the way. Roz will perform with her five member Rockin’ Band—all gifted stage musicians in the music industry. It will be a show stopping, powerful and fun performance for all ages to enjoy.

Roz is an Oklahoma Arts Council Touring Artist and this concert is funded in part by a grant from the Oklahoma Arts Council. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students. For more information and tickets, please call 477-1616; or the Altus Chamber of Commerce at 482-0210.
