The Jackson County Commissioners met on Monday Feb. 28, at the Jackson County Courthouse.

At the meeting District Attorney John Wampler presented the interlocal agreement between Kiowa County District #3 EMS, Kiowa County Commissioners, Jackson County Commissioners and the Jackson County EMS regarding receipt of an ambulance from Kiowa County District #3 EMS.

Jackson County EMS Director Shaun Cecil said since the Kiowa County EMS no longer provides services, Jackson County EMS receives about 400 calls per year from Kiowa County. The ambulance will help with wear and tear on the current ambulance, and the forming of a signed contract will help with finances.

There was no new business, or claims and the meeting was adjourned.
