The theme for the 46th annual Miss Altus Pageant is “A Touch of Class.” Each year the theme sets the tone of the pageant from the music used to contestant costumes for the group numbers.
There are 10 contestants in this year’s pageant. They are Alexa Britton, daughter of Bradley Britton and Adrian Calhoun; Marissa Bourgeois, daughter of Jeff and Sand Bourgeois; Meaghan Dorn, daughter of Phil Dorn, and Josh and Tiffianie Mcgill; Kristen Hammock, daughter of Michael Hammock, and Noe and Michelle Castillo; Lexie Herron, daughter of Shanon and Lynne Herron; Jancy Jeffus, daughter of Larry and Kelly Jeffus; Dessirea Knox, daughter of Kevin and Karen Knox; Caroline Quam, daughter of Brian and Billie Quam; Lana Spandley, daughter of Shaun and Emily Cecil; and Reece Vadney, daughter of Mark and Kari Vadney.
Along with the 10 young ladies vying for the crown and title of Miss Altus 2016, Miss Oklahoma Georgia Frazier will be in Altus to participate in some of the pre-pageant activities as well as the show itself.
Don’t miss this event that has been named one of the best pageant events in Oklahoma. Tickets for the Saturday, Feb. 20 pageant are reserve sale only. You can reserve tickets by calling Carol at 482-0145. Tickets can be picked up and/or purchased at the auditorium beginning Monday, Feb. 15 through Thursday, Feb. 18 between 6 and 8 p.m. The pageant will begin promptly at 8 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Altus City Auditorium.
