‘Light Up A Life’ event Dec. 7

A time of celebration and remembrance of life

staff reports

Jackson County Memorial Hospital’s 21st annual “Light Up A Life” event will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7. Light Up A Life is held annually as a celebration and remembrance of life.

When you make a donation in honor of a loved one, you will receive an ornament in their name hung on the tree in the JCMH lobby; the name placed in the JCMH Book of Lights; and their name read and a candle lit during the Candle Lighting Ceremony.

Speaker for this year’s event will be Gary Kincannon, and special music will be by Blake Pewo. The Candlelight Ceremony will be held after the message of hope by Kincannon.

This year’s Bible verse for the event is Romans 15:13 which says, “May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Donations to Light Up A Life can be made by using the form here and mailing to JCMH Hospice, P.O. Box 1139, Altus, OK 73522. For more information, call 580-481-2320.
