Nancy Goss has been named the Altus Schools Employee of the Month for the month of November. A 16-year employee of Altus Schools, Goss began her career with the district in 1999. She currently serves as the personnel clerk at the board of education.

Nancy and her husband Herb have three children, Herbie and his wife Nancy, Aaron and his wife Kaylyn, and Sarah and her husband Matt Harvey. They have one grandson, Mason. Herb and Nancy are members of Altus First Assembly of God Church.

What Goss most enjoys about working for Altus Public Schools is the friendly and positive atmosphere. “I am blessed to be surrounded by wonderful people, and enjoy coming to work every day! I’ve held more than a few job positions since beginning my employment with Altus Schools in 1999, every day is different and I’m learning a variety of things all the time. I feel truly honored to be a part of Altus Public Schools,” stated Goss.

Stockman’s Bank of Altus serves as the sponsor of the monthly award. Each month, Stockman’s provides the employee of the month with a certificate of appreciation and a $100 bill.
