A public meeting about debris will be held this Saturday, Nov. 14. According to Lloyd Colston, Altus Emergency Management director, the 10 a.m. meeting will be held at the Altus Public Library, 421 N Hudson.
“This meeting is part of the debris management plan review,” said Colston.
The plan is part of the recovery effort of local, state, and federal government. Those attending will learn about how having a debris plan will help the local government recover quickly from a disaster such as a tornado or ice storm.

Local and county residents are also encouraged to attend the meeting which is sponsored by the Local Emergency Planning Committee.
