The Richard Hart Jazz Quartet will perform in concert on Thursday evening, Nov. 12, at the Gallery@112, located at 112 West Main Street in downtown Sayre.

The group consists of Richard Hart of Elk City on guitar, Gary Gardner of Altus on saxophone, Justin O’Neil of Altus on bass, and Gene Fuchs of Elk City on percussion. The group has been together since 2010 and has performed all over western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. Hart released his first solo album Fearless Shores from Innervision Records in 2006.

The group has recently produced another CD album entitled Blue Swing. It consists of bebop as well as Latin-style dance tunes that appeal to all audiences. The group performed twice earlier this year at the Gallery to very appreciative audiences.

Everyone is welcome to come enjoy an evening of great jazz, especially band students interested in the performing arts. The quartet’s CD’s will be available for sale.

The event begins at 7 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the Gallery at 580-928-0002.

The Gallery@112 is operated by the Rivers Edge Arts Society, a nonprofit 501c3 corporation with a mission of promoting the arts in western Oklahoma.
