Great Plains Friends of NRA to hold banquet

staff reports

The doors to the Blair Banquet Room in Blair will open at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 for the Great Plains Friends of NRA banquet.

This will be the last opportunity to attend a Friends of NRA banquet in the State of Oklahoma for this year, and there will be something for everyone, including terrific food, games and stuff for kids, a silent auction, a fun-filled live auction, and family-friendly games for chances to acquire exclusive, limited edition merchandise, firearms, knives, art, jewelry and more.

NRA field staff and local volunteers have been working hard to create another great evening full of fun and fellowship with the goal of raising funds to promote shooting sports.

Remember that one-half of the proceeds from all banquets held in Oklahoma comes back to the state and is disbursed by FNRA State Committees in the form of grants to programs such as youth education, law enforcement training, hunter education, conservation, marksmanship training and much more. They are always looking for programs to fund, so give them a call and get an application in before the deadline of Jan. 12, 2016.

Mark your calendar and join them Nov. 7. For further information call 580-782-3258.
