The Frederick Arts and Humanities Council will present Concerts In The Park each Saturday night in June. The concerts are free, open to the public and begin at 7 p.m. in the shade of the big red barn at the Pioneer Townsite on the west side of the courthouse. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy some great entertainment.
Saturday, June 13 concert will feature DeLayna Hensley accompanied by Lance Bohannon.
Hensely is a graduate of Frederick High School class of 2015 and will be attending the University of Central Oklahoma in the fall pursuing a double major in Vocal and Instrumental Music Education.
She has been a member of various bands for seven years and the Frederick Choir for two years. She is a member of Academic All-State 2015, the All-State Women’s Choir 2015, and the Small School All-State Band 2015. DeLayna has a real passion for classical music, and hopes to spend her life giving some of that passion to others.
