The Pampered Pachyderms of the Carson & Barnes Circus are looking forward to their upcoming stop at Jackson County Expo Center, 301 South Todd Lane in Altus, on Monday, Oct. 19. The Circus is being sponsored by the Blair Class of 2017.

The biggest stars of the Circus are scheduled to receive full “Spa Treatment” from head to toe, and the public is invited to watch. Come see local hero firefighters from the Altus Fire Department help out starting at 3 p.m. that day.

The elephants will be lathered, scrubbed, exfoliated, moisturized, and pedicured, so they look and feel their best when they greet fans at that afternoon’s big top performance. The process takes gallons of specially formulated “beauty soap” and hundreds of gallons of fresh water.

The all-new 79th Edition of the Carson & Barnes Circus also features a giant menagerie of exotic animals from around the world, which can be seen free of charge before each scheduled performance. Elephant and pony rides are available for a small charge on the Circus midway, along with many other exciting pre-show activities.

Carson & Barnes Circus is affordable for the entire family. Complete tour and ticketing information is available on the Carson & Barnes Circus website: www.BigTopShow.com or by calling (580) 743-7292. Show times are set for 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
