A Programming Resolution to grade, drain and surface “Navajo Road” SCR210 is on Monday’s County Commissioners agenda. The project will begin at ECR 157 and extend South three miles to ECR 160, District #1. Construction is scheduled for FY 2017, funded with County Improvements for Road and Bridges (CIRB) Funds. This regular meeting of the Jackson County Commissioners will be held in the Commissioners office at the courthouse beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 8.
Other agenda items include approving the Monthly Report & Reconcilement May 2015 forthe Health Department, Assessor’s, Sheriff’s, District Attorney’s , Treasurer’s offices, County Clerk’s Cashbook & Summary Report, and the Case Balance Summary Report & Reconcilement May 2015 Court Clerk’s office. Officers reports, blanket purchase orders and Publication of Commissioners’ Proceedings for the month of May 2015 will be considered.
Marvin Conner is also set to be reappointed to serve as board member on the Friendship County Fire Department with term ending April 9, 2020.
A Lease Agreement between Lee Office Equipment and Jackson County Assessor’s office for Canon C2225 copier beginning July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 will be considered, as will possible action on designation of Requisitioning Officers for the Assessor’s office effective July 1, 2015.
Designation of Receiving Officers for the Assessor’s office effective July 1, 2015, and Requisitioning Officer for District 3 Drug Court will then be considered.
A Contract between Jackson County District #3 and Danny Story for rock/clay mix removal at $.50/cubic yard from the NE ¼, Section 35, Township 1 South, Range 24 WIM, beginning July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 will be considered, as will a Contract for clay removal from the Northwest ¼ of Section 15, Township 3 North, Range 19 WIM between Bennie Doane and Jackson County District #1 effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.
Consideration and possible action on a Resolution of Lease Agreement renewal between Jackson County Board of Commissioners and Security State Bank, County ID# D307-0065, 2013 John Deere 672G Motor Grader, effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016, District #2 will be addressed, as will a Purchase Contract for the purpose of purchasing a motor grader through the Oklahoma Dept. of Transp. County Road Machinery and Equipment Revolving Fund FY 2014-2015, District #1, and Purchase Contract for the purpose of purchasing a motor grader through the Oklahoma Dept. of Transp. County Road Machinery and Equipment Revolving Fund FY 2014-2015, District #2.
Commissioners will then consideration Transfer of Appropriations within the Court Clerk’s Funds from Salaries to Travel, before hearing any new business, and action on claims before adjourning.
