The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was in Frederick over the weekend after a body was found at Lake Frederick. According to reports, the body appeared to have been run over by a car and set on fire. The crime scene was a camp site on the west side of the lake.

Frederick Police received a 911 call at about 3 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19. The caller said a dead body had been found at a camp site. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man’s body that appeared to have been run over by a car and set on fire. The man’s body has not been positively identified. OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said, “We have a working identity on who it might be, but we’re not releasing anything until we know for sure.”
