A documentary featuring Oklahoma cattle ranchers will be playing at Altus’ Heritage Park Theater. Showings will be on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. The film, Lone Man’s Land follows a family at risk of losing their legacy. It has already been featured at other theaters around Oklahoma including Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Although Altus isn’t featured in the film, the subject matter itself is a connecting factor to Southwest Oklahoma and the Altus community.
Ezra Gentle, an independent filmmaker, is the Producer, Co-Director and Editor behind this project. Lone Man’s Land is Gentle’s first feature film. Gentle graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors Degree in Film and Media Studies. Some of Gentle’s past work includes producing and editing spots for Red Bull and Disney Studios as well as working for Warner Brothers.
